LINA ZEDIG
Lina Zedig is a Swedish fiber artist and textile designer. Her work has its origin in Swedish fiber art and textile craft traditions and is heavily influenced by the folk art of Japan and India – places to which she has traveled extensively and lived throughout the years. The natural world is central to her practice both in the development of natural dyes as well as in the expression of rhythmic patterns found in the nature.
Lina has a strong commitment to sustainability and considers every element that flows into and out of her textiles. Her carefully constructed collections reflects her innate passion for fibers. Her work offers an homage to the process and art of weaving, and each piece embodies a pure expression of process.
